Family Evening Walk

I Love this time of year, having the longer days feels like you can do so much more outside and when the weather is sunny and warm, I love to get out for a walk in the evening. I almost crave it and it makes it so much better if we go as a family. Its a time to spend together with no distractions from technology (apart from the camera, of course!), a time where the girls will openly chat about their day at school and what they have planned for the rest of the week, a time to take in the area where we live and really appreciate nature and our surroundings. To take deep breathes and fill our lungs with the fresh, cool air.

And if we get the timing right, after dinner, just as the sun is starting to set, the lighting is absolutely stunning. The warm light just makes the colours ‘pop’ and all the greenery looks bright and vibrant.

Near where we live are some fields, which are known locally as ‘The Gallops’ and were given the name, as years ago the owner of the land used it to train his racehorses, but now owned by farmers who grow various crops. It is quite a large area of several fields joined together and if you walk up to the top of the hill, on a clear day you can see all the way to London, with the iconic silhouette of canary wharf at the front of the skyline.

It is very quiet as you get to the top of the hill, as you are away from the road and surrounded by the fields. If you are lucky you will get to see lots of wildlife and we regularly see various birds singing loudly and flitting about. We often get to see Skylarks, crows and kestrel’s hovering along the valley waiting to to spot a mouse, which Chloe did on this walk.

During our walk we noticed that all the dandelions that were covering the field in yellow had now turned to seed.

Who remembers blowing dandelions when they were kids? Even as an adult I find it hard to walk past dandelions without picking one and blowing the seeds. The detail on them is so pretty.

We had lots of fun walking, playing and being present. Its a nice feeling to not have to be somewhere, doing something and just be in the here and now and mindful of that time and your surroundings.

What do you enjoy doing as a family in the evenings?

    Hello ,

I saw your tweets and thought I will check your website. Have to say it looks very good!
I’m also interested in this topic and have recently started my journey as young entrepreneur.

I’m also looking for the ways on how to promote my website. I have tried AdSense and Facebok Ads, however it is getting very expensive. Was thinking about starting using analytics. Do you recommend it?
Can you recommend something what works best for you?

Would appreciate, if you can have a quick look at my website and give me an advice what I should improve: http://janzac.com/
(Recently I have added a new page about FutureNet and the way how users can make money on this social networking portal.)

I wanted to subscribe to your newsletter, but I couldn’t find it. Do you have it?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    P.S.
Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?

    Regards
    Jan Zac

Hi, Thank you for visting my website. I don’t really have much advice i’m afraid, as I am still learning myself. I have only just started using analytics, so not sure if it works well yet. I also don’t have a newsletter set up just yet either.Good luck with your site. Amy
