My Nephew recently turned 3 and for his birthday as well as buying him something I like to make him something too. So when I saw this free Stick man pattern from Lucy Kate Crochet pop up on Pinterest I immediately clicked on it and had a read through to see how easy it was to follow.
I thought the pattern looked pretty straight forward and I was sure I would be able to follow it and the best bit about it was, was that I already had the right colour yarn to make Stick man, as I had some left over balls of brown wool that I had used to make little Easter baskets. The pattern was really well written and really easy to follow and it took me a few days to complete him.
I was so pleased with how he turned out and my nephew loved him too. I mean who doesn’t love a Julia Donaldson character anyway? So now he has a proper ‘stick’ Stick man and a soft one to cuddle too.
Do you have a favourite Julia Donaldson book?
If you make a Stick man I would love to see a picture of it.
